The guys over at HF are all over this and the wings goal. Some are arguing that it was a clean hit, while others are calling for goalie interference after the goal was scored when Hiller got knocked over.

The more I look at the replay in real time, it wasn't as late as I first thought. I'm not sure what to think at this point. On the one hand, it's a bit late and from behind, on the other hand, it wasn't an elbow or necessarily intentional to the head, and Hudler was admiring his pass. I'll be interested to see the league ruling.

so... what happens in this series once the Red Wings wake up?
Nice win. 1 down 3 more to go.

If the NHL wants any sort of consistency that's going to be a suspension for that hit by Brown.
I don't know how you can say that wasn't an intentional hit to the head.
That major PP was a bit frustrating. Lord knows the Wings don't flub that many passes when they play the Kings. Good win though. The rust should be fully off the Wings next game.
Edit: Oh yeah, I'd be surprised if Campbell hands Brown a stiff suspension. I'm calling one game, if that, though I think he deserves at least 3.
