Awful. Having become quite a bit of a Preds fan, I had the privilege of seeing what a great personality and sense of humor Wade had. Hearing reports now that it was suicide. Just awful...there's not much more to say. Great guy, may he finally be at peace. My prayers are definitely with his wife and two young kids. So, so sad.

Having always been partial to the enforcers in hockey, this recent turn of events with these players has made me stop and think how it's about time something is done about this part of hockey. It really does sadden me to say this, as I'm of the old school type game. Loss of young lives like this has just got to be stopped. 3 of these lives in such a short time span is just hearbreaking.

3 enforcers since May. thats insane. very sad news. he was one of those players that you would love to have on your team but despised because he wasnt. 35 is way too young.
He was a fan favorite no matter which team he played for. As mentioned,35 is way too young.
Wade played over here in the U.K. and was universally liked by fans of every team, another sad loss.
