Default Rich Clune's long road to recovery

I remember how excited I was during the 2010 playoffs, when the Kings finally made it. It's amazing how different Clune's experience was and how far he's come since.

I don't think many (or any) of us had any idea about this

He recalls netminder Jonathan Bernier, now the Kings' backup, looking at him with disgust.

"He just said, 'You're a piece of [expletive],'" Clune recalled.
    Best line in the article.

Kudos to Rich getting his life together. I remember meeting him a couple of years ago and he was hands down the nicest LA King I've ever met. Last night, he scored a goal on a penalty shot!

Glad to hear he got his life in order. Props to the Kings organization and Hextall in helping the kid

Thanks for that very interesting story and this just goes to show that people should hold back on their judgment of players when you don't really have any idea what's going on in their lives.

I'm glad Clune is healthy and finally happy in his own skin.
I have to wonder what would have happened with Karalahti if he ever figured it out.
