Yeah, that'll happen.

Not as much as I was rooting. I got to see Rob's mug 2 feet away as the buzzer went off. I can't even begin to tell you how good it made me feel.
And Mike Cammalleri, too!
I love karma justice

You have to admit bandit, Karma is a bitch!

I've waited ALL year to write this:
Dear Rob Blake,
As a young Kings fan I idolised you. It wasn't Gretzky or Luc I followed, it was you. It wasn't #20, or #99, or #16, or #18 I had on the back of my first jersey, it was #4. I play D because of you.
Then you decided to stab us in the back with the Divealanche, but it brought us Deadmarsh, and, in the end, you came back, so I forgave you.
Then, after saying you'd be with the Kings forever, you decided to sign with the Sharks, you stabbed us in the back so hard and so deep it cut out hearts in two.
And where did it get you? Five extra games, that's all, FIVE more games than the Kings.
YOU could have had your jersey retired by the team that drafted you. YOU could have had a nice little front office job. Now you're going to get neither. Assclown.
Think the Sharks will retire your jersey? Never. Think the Divealanche will remember you? Nope. Think the Kings will remember you with fondness? :39smile:
Well done Rob, karma got you in the end. I hope you enjoy your crown of ****. :24smile:
Yours,
P24ddy.
The Ducks did their job and finished Judas' career, now, LETS GO WINGS!!!!
I didn't read any of the posts, but all I have to say is.....
F' YOU ROB BLAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do us all a favor and retire and your number will never hang in Staples because your number will be given to VL. :dancingtomato:
I hate both teams with equal fervor. However, the main difference between the Ducks and Sharks in that series was heart.
It echoes something DL has said, "I want players that will go through a brick wall for each other." That was the Ducks. You can bring in UFAs like Blake and trade for players like Boyle, but they will never make a team.
When it comes to the playoffs your character players are as important as your top six.
haha get it all out there in the open guys.
I am in no way a Ducks fan but this year, more than any other year I have truly had a strong dislike for the Sharks. It's not just Blake it is the whiney face of Thornton the sad puppy face of Marleau and the 12 year old face of Pavelski that I could not stand. All the talent in the world can bring you a Presidents Trophy but having no balls in the postseason will get you the same results everytime, and for the record Nabakov fell apart as much as the rest of the team did IMHO of course.
That fan karma thing made me ****ing laugh so hard...props to Steve Sullivan.
And YES I would rather be our organization right now in the last 2 years then the Sharks. We all see the upside. Yea we complain about not making it this year, but all of us see the potential for this team to turn into the next version of the Red Wings if we play our cards right and keep a strong pipeline. San Jose has been knocked out as an upper seed what...3 years now? They have always gone for quick fixes...and no pipeline..and what has that got them? A team that lacks chemistry and desire to go past the first round.
I ask you would you rather be an organization who hasn't won a cup and has an extreme upside right now, great prospects, and a lot of cap space...or a team who wins the presidents trophy, has no cap space, an old team, and consistently chokes in the first round....
