I wouldn't worry about it. According to DL, no one more retired jerseys until someone wins a Stanley Cup in LA.

I don't think he even deserves a "Rob Blake" night let alone getting his #4 retired. Give the #4 to Hickey.

I'll celebrate once he's part of some other organization in an official capacity.

For the uneducated, (myself), why is Blake so disliked among the majority of Kings fans?

He refused to resign with the team that drafted him so we had to watch him leave and win a cup with the Avs. Then when he came back he was just awful and refused to waive his no trade clause

Isn't it kind of d!ckish to do this on potentially the day the Cup is awarded? He couldn't wait a week?

That said, I don't hate the guy. I just wish he invested as much in the team as we do.

They just brought this up the Power Play on the NHL network and both guys say NO to retiring his number. They are a bit split on the hall of fame, which I think he'll make.
