Thread: Roy for Ott and Pardy

Count me as happy with this trade, no more ott in the west is a nice thing.
One season with this travel, will be funny to see where Roy ends up.

Ott is made of sandpaper. He's one of those players you hate to play against, but love on your team. They need someone with that MO.

After thinking this over a bit, what I THINK Niewy is doing is preparing to blow it up. Sure, he's got 6 NHL caliber guys up front, but when they get their asses handed to them regularly this season by the Wings/Hawks/Preds/Blues (Who are the 4 playoff teams right now in that division), he's got another deadline UFA to deal for prospects and picks and blow it up right. Lehtonen/Roy/Morrow/Ryder/Nystrom, when they aren't in playoff contention, are certainly going to the highest bidders for prospects and picks.

Why do you keep putting them in the Central? They are still in the Pacific.

When you're superstar goalie gets run over and your team is too weak to defend him you go out and get an Ott type player.

No realignment for 2012-13, it will be a CBA consideration.

wait tell the end of the next season and I guess we will know if it was a good trade. A change of scenery does wonders.
