    Regardless, Niewy is setup to clear the decks in February.

    Down the middle, the Kings and Sharks have the strongest center groups. Phoenix has some size and grit and will likely cause everyone else grief. The Ducks are small after Getzlaf, and the Stars are flat out little.

    Its a 2 horse race for the division, with those other 3 fighting it out for the last spot.
    at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.

    The proposed realignment plan was dumb anyway. Why the NHL was so insistent on going to 4 divisions is beyond me, 30 isn't divisible by 4 last time I checked...plus, how do you put Philly and Pitt in different divisions?

    30 is not divisible by 4, but 32 is...

    I am glad to see OTT out as well....Roy's stats have declined and a washed up Jagr doesnt scare me. 19Goals and 35 Assists on the Flyers all offense team doesnt seem that impressive to me.
