next time I'll translate it for the humor impaired. It was an obvious joke....lighten up Vlad.

I understand you were trying to make a joke, but you have to understand you have gay posters on this site, and as a mod you need to appear impartial.
Besides, I'm so tired of the double standards when it comes to peoples' views on lesbians as opposed to gay men.
Not being an ahole here but it was an obvious joke....this is obviously an issue with you that has overidden your common sense. Misunderstanding an obvious joke on your part does not require an apology on my part.
I would love to have a conversation though with the people who are pro-lesbian marriage but anti gay male marriage...having a hard time getting my head around that one. Its like saying "Civil Rights for all...except Puerto Ricans."
It's difficult to tell what's an "obvious" joke on here. I've had several posters admit to their homophobia, and seen disrespectful and homophobic posts from regular posters and mods alike. That being said, I see what you're saying and apologize for what I said.
I'd forgotten about Sean. Does he still play hockey?
A lot of people always talk about how they're thankful to live in this country. Personally, I'm more thankful to have lived in melting pots my whole life. New York, Vancouver, and LA. Exposure to different people and different ways of life is the only real way to understand each other in this world. You go to certain towns and you see how little exposure they have and how anything that's different feels like a threat to them. It's no coincidence that it's always the non-melting pot cities that vote against things like this. It all stems from lack of knowledge. Ignorance. It's the same in the countries we are at war with. If we all just mixed and learned from one another, we'd be in a much better place. We really aren't all that different from each other. But I suppose that just makes me a hippie.
Well done Sean.
