Yea! The Seattle Sea Devils has a nice ring to it! And why does New York city need three teams anyway?

Honest question here. Does anyone think an NHL team can succeed long-term in the Pacific Northwest?
I have never spent more than a few hours at a time in Seattle, and lived in Portland for about a year. . . I saw almost zero interest in hockey.
In Portland I actually witnessed more interest in curling!
I would LOVE to see a team capture the interest in lovely Seattle, but am skeptical.
I never would have pegged Seattle as a huge Soccer town either but the Sounders draw over 35,000 a game if I'm not mistaken. I understand it's a shorter schedule and there are other factors that make it an easier sell... but still.... Seattle sports draws a crowd.
EDIT : And really... does New York city need three teams?
Seattle draws good crowds for the junior team. Part of the company I work for is based in seattle and one of my co workers was a hickey fan. At the least they will get the overflow from vancouver.

The Seattle Gloom, would be a good choice or the Seattle Mist.
They'd have guaranteed sellouts against the Canucks, Oilers, and Flames. Then you have your Wings and Leafs who always bring crowds. The junior teams up in that region do pretty well too from what I understand.
Too little too late? Should have done this when the Sonics were still in town.
