    Hell..and you could make an argument for these guys..

    Brent Burns
    etc. etc.

    Dan Boyle is a fantastic defensemen. But to say "name 30 defensemen better then him"? I could name 9-10 off the top of my head and 20 if I REALLY thought about it.

    Boyles defensive game isn't that great, and he gets muscled off the puck fairly easily
    I don't remotely agree with several of your choices. Just as one example, I'm a huge Caps fan and I would trade Green for Boyle in a heartbeat.

    But even if you succeeded you'd be 10 short.

    at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.
