yet when he described the Canadiens' play of late he described them as a "freefalling" team.

Tonight the Ducks TV broadcast was not half bad, though I only heard the 1st and 3rd periods. Hayward made a few mistakes, but at least he corrected some of them. I just don't recall saying to myself WTF? all game long. Just a few times lol...

No comments on him predicting Kings for playoffs or other complements? Calling Ducks penalties valid or other Quick praise?

Another example of him being the Avery to LGKers, causing reactions. He was actually much better tonight. Not as biased as he has been in the past.

No, as per usual, he was terrible.

Case in point. His amusing ability to completely gloss over the fact that his 2/3rds winning % math is actually utter horse****, as the Ducks have played more games than anyone else in the conference, including 3 more than the Kings. FOUR more than The Wild, two more than Edmonton, and again, three more than Dallas.

Selective memory does not a good color commentator make.

edit: Dana reminded me, the thing about Quick leaving the crease was AMAZING. Can you really be that ****ing retarded, especially as a former goalie to think that in the chronology of things there, that he would be run, go back to his crease, and then decide to come out of the crease and start swinging? SERIOUSLY?

I've decided reasons like this are a good enough reason to go to the Ponda, because then I don't have to watch and listen to that crap.

Although I wanted to hurt the lady next to me that kept cheering "Come on Monty!" for Montidor. I'm still not sure if she was more annoying than the people that came at 1st intermission, made the "Monty" fan move down to their real seats. She was a Stars fan, the guy she was with was a Ducks fan and she was going to root for the Kings but the Monty fan convinced her to root for the Ducks. She and the guy she was with proceded to drink a ton of beers and then as he said "I have the bladder of a 97 year old" so he got up to pee like 4 times a period. They talked the whole game and she would randomly yell things of the "Get him" type yells.
