Yeah... they soooo deserve him. I am born and raised OC and the whole or-geigh-nization is pathetic. That guy is a nothing more than a two legged spoon. He just runs around stirring **** up.

I could see Ahlers being let go after the season.

a big organizational shakeup is in the works over there.

I'm pretty sure a small piece of Bob Murray is hoping for an 0-4 start to the trip so he can blow it up ASAP.

I liked it when he said the the building went quiet when the Kings scored a goal as the replay was showing and it wasn't quiet at all, there was a huge CHEER from all the Kings fans. Classic!!

Smart returns for Giguere and Pronger could really avoid much of a drop-off for them.

Ugh, any return for those two right now is going to result in picks/prospects/fodder for the Iowa Chops, there is no way they get NHL caliber players that aren't perhaps one step up from pluggers. Pronger has some decent totals, and yeah he's been to the finals a couple of times, but his play in his own end this year is mighty questionable. It will not take a Hossa type deal to land him. Even that was pretty lopsided in favor of Hossa, really. Colby Armstrong and Angelo Esposito cant add up to 1/3rd of Hossa's value.
Pronger is the lone defenseman on contract next year that anyone not named Orange Puck would recognize.

As we talked about here before they even won the cup, Burke's philosophy, as I think touched upon a couple of posts up, with an awesome characterization of "scorched ice," is about ready to come home to roost, or some other cliche. It's gonna be bad bad bad, and most reasonably knowledgeable ducks' fans cant deny it.

I tried to do my best tonight to make it as loud as possible. That was a total blast to go to.

Some quack fan says to Quick after he gets checked by Niedemeyer" that's what you get when you play with the big boys". I was so pissed I thought I was going to have to beat the guys ass. Then when we scored and I just yelled as loud as I could in the guy's ear.

Best of all I didn't have to listen to Gayward.
