I'm gonna go with the people that said he wasn't that bad last night.
Not saying he was great.
Just that he wasn't that bad.
Compared to previous games, anyway.
agreed. Like I said earlier... only two glaring things to me.... that Quick should have gotten a penalty when Scott Neidermayer ran him, and that Getzlaf got the superstar of the game.
He wasn't thaaat bad last night.
He wasn't that bad.
He did correct himself on his comment about Quick leaving the crease.
He does still SUCK.
Yeah but when do Bob or Jim have to correct themselves about such an obvious play? They may make "slip of the tongue" mistakes or incorrectly call out a name mis-recognizing the player's #, but they quickly correct those mistakes.
Generally, they KNOW hockey and are very accurate in their observations, and the statisticians/producers are 100x better for the Kings too. They don't get information that is completely inaccurate handed to them so they can read on the air and make fools of themselves.
No, this is what that asshat said. Quick left the crease then went back to the crease, and then left the crease again to join in the fray. He sure wasn't paying attention. We got screwed on a few non-calls that game but none worse than when Calder checked Pronger on a clean hit in the corner and Mr.Punkass crosschecked him right after that with the ref watching the whole time.
You don't have to tell me about Bob & Jim, i'm very aware about Bob & Jims broadcasting excellence. I was simply pointing out that even though "Hazzy" does make the more than occassional bonehead lopesided judgement, on that particular case he corrected himself once he realized he was wrong.
