What about, in the beginning of the game:
Hayward: In his first professional hockey game (in the minors), Quick not only earned a shutout, but also scored a goal.
Ahlers: Yea, but did he get the win
Hayward: Uhh....he had a shutout!

It's more about him saying it in the first place. Any announcer worth his salt would have been actually watching the game and seen what happened. He got caught and had a REALLY hard time admitting it. It took him a long time to correct himself.
