    More info:

    Callahan contract breakdown: $6M/$6.4M/$6.5M/$6.5M/$4.7M/$4.7M

NY got St. Louis with TB's 2nd rd pick in 2015.
TB got Callahan, the Rangers 1st rd round picks in 2014 and 2015 and a 7th in 2015.

The NYR did make the Stanley Cup Final with MSL, but it's now clear who that trade.

So per Gord Miller the trade works out to

NY got St. Louis with TB's 2nd rd pick in 2015. TB got Callahan, the Rangers 1st rd round picks in 2014 and 2015 and a 7th in 2015.
NY St Louis (still unsigned) + Tampa Bay 2nd 2015

    Tampa: Callahan (now signed for 6 years) +Rangers 1st in 2014 and 2015, +Rangers 7th 2015

Not too shabby for stevie Y

Ok, looking at all the Centers in just the Pacific Division, what 2 would you slot above and below Callahan in a ranking?

Not sure what you mean by the question. I mean as far as # 2 center above callahan? I'm not even sure he's going to be # 2 on his team. Tampa is now incredibly stacked through center with Stamkos, Callahan and Johnson. Stevie's squad is gonna be purty impressive when you consider they didn't have Stamkos for most of the year and lost Bishop right at the end of the season. Oh and they probably get to add that Druin kid this next season on ELC.....

    Out west
    SJ (provided they keep thornton)
    LA with Carter
Col might be interesting for this discussion if they played in the east.
Not sure how St Louis stacks up considering their gap between 1-2 c's is minimal
Minnesota is probably similar to St Louis with their gap spread with the improvement of Brodziak and Coyle to Mikko's decline.

ANA and CHI need serious #2c help. VAN is too long in the tooth.
