    That guy was probably toast the minute he was drafted by the Kings.

    And to think we could have taken Myers.
    at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.

    He didn't look good at his first training camp. Big body but with limited talent, bad hockey sense and a misplaced mean streak. That's when the luster went off that pick for me.

    that said, i'm not all that impressed with Myers either. he seems like a bit off a piece of that Phaneuf cookie so far.
