Just dont get the logic for the Islanders you are going to pay a player $5 Million for not playing so you can meet the minimum cap, why not sign some free agents veteran to help out your younger players and or lock up a younger guy for the next 3 years so you can mee the cap floor.

Or they can not pay the player the 5 million due to his suspension but still count the cap hit to get to the floor which seems logical.
