It is, but if the Ducks buy him out next summer, then it only hampers them for $1.3M over 4 seasons. 60% of the remaining value spread over twice the length of the contract.

I don't think he does, especially if it costs a 1st round pick. It wouldn't make any sense for the Kings to take on Kaberle's $4.25M worth of contract for next season. Plus he goes UFA the same year Johnson and Doughty go RFA.

That is an insaneee trade Calgary got better than they are now but i doubt they are in on Kovy because they still took on alot of Salary back.

I'm sticking with silver. I don't think it changes their final draft position, just solidifies it as top 3 regardless of the lottery. And this year, that apparently gets you someone extra special.

Another winner in all of this is Giguere. He gets to be a #1 again and he's reunited with Francois Allaire.

Could be just what he needs to get his **** back together.
