How amusing is it that they ignored Dean about Yandle and go on to sleep walk through the Olympics and get creamed and a few months later Dean gets another Stanley Cup?

To date, I absolutely love everything Linden and Company have done since they took office.

Vancouver fans cheer or boo Kesler when he returns as a Duck?

100% they boo him because he wanted to leave. He has openly said that he doesn't want to be part of a rebuild and wants to win a Championship.

Linden Vey is a great acquisition for them as well. He will have a shot with the Canucks that he won't have with the Kings most importantly. Also, like Derek Dorsett, he played for Dejardins in Medicine Hat, so there is familiarity with him there. I expect Vey to be a full time NHLer next season.

That pissed me off more than anything.

I'm not going to hold that against him as much as you. Unfortunately the Canucks felt they needed to offer him this right during his last contract. When you look at the Kings roster, you don't see any of this kind of crap. Not a single NTC given out by the Kings. Gillis handed out no trade clauses like they were candy at Halloween. I can somewhat understand offering one to an UFA that might be a difference maker in a deal to a veteran player who has earned the right, but for all of those RFAs to have them is nuts. Today Ottawa gets screwed by Spezza by him denying a trade to Nashville. Nothing good comes from NTCs from a teams standpoint. I doubt we see many more in Vancouver.

Edler better find his game from a few years ago or he's going to be next.
I'm still on the fence about Kesler. Three years ago I was ready to take the C off Henrik and hand it to him. After last season, I felt he was the biggest let-down on a team full of let downs. Both on and off the ice he was frustrating to watch. He was given everything a player would hope for - massive amounts of ice time in all situations. The pouting just got too much when things didn't go well.
