I wonder if the Canucks can fool the NHL into thinking Bieksa did this?
Also at least Rypien didn't commit battery with a shoe. :danc:

Malhotra defends Rypien; "Fan crossed the line."
Malhotra: Fan crossed the line - The White TowelQuote:
"I just think the fan got a little bit too involved," Malhotra said. "There's just no place for that in our game. "There's boundaries that should never be crossed. We're in our area of work. We are all for the hootin' and hollerin' and supporting your team and saying whatever is tasteful out there. But as soon as you cross that line and want to become physical with a player, we have to make sure we take care of ourselves and we're protected."
Ridiculous. What bugs me the most is that Minnesota has some of the best hockey fans around bar none. Not that this can be condoned with fans of any other teams, it can't, I'm just saying that it stings worse when you know these guys are just loyal hockey fans and not some drunken fools. I'm starting to think that Vancouvers biggest nemesis is Vancouver.
I say we make a stand by making Drunken Crunker pay for mitchrock and Tonga's bar tab at Frozen Fury next year.
Rypien should give the fans he shoved a Vancouver Canuck key chain as a momento of the incident.
