Nice deal for him.

Good for Wayne, but I really don't get the thinking on Holmgren's part. Why give the guy a 6 year deal when he would have been an RFA at the end of next season? Do they really think Wayne's value can go beyond $4M/yr?

If he cracks 30 goals in a season, his value will absolutely eclipse 4M per year.

Flyers signed a deal? Expect a trade to the Kings soon. ;)

According to capgeek, he got a modified NTC. I assume that means he can submit a list of 5 teams he can't be traded to.
