Same reason he got emotional after their exit a couple years back. The guy wants it that bad and should be commended rather than ridiculed. If only there were more people like that in the sport today.

It was actually quite the opposite, the team carried him (which is not to say it's "his fault"). When he came back from his injury he didn't really get back on his game until Round 1 of the playoffs, where he kicked all kinds of ass. Luongo didn't choke in these playoffs. The Canucks didn't choke in these playoffs. It was a good series with a great game 6. Chicago just beat them, it's that simple.

if anyone actually read (instead of just talking s*** despite the fact that i ALWAYS know better ) my tireless defense of Clutch, they'd know that this isn't exactly an attempt to disparage Roberto Luongo.

Then what is it then? You can't possibly be insinuating that Dan Cloutier is anything other than a complete hack. The fact that he's unemployed is the proof in the pudding. Luongo isn't a playoff choker either. He's had far too many good games for that to be true. The Hawks have the magic this year; they will make the finals.

    I have foreseen it.

No, this is incorrect. It is pretty much always the goalie's fault.

Sometimes thoughts are better left to one's self.

first of all, it isn't the proof is in the pudding, it is the proof of the pudding is in the eating... kind of like ignorance is bliss .
