Same reason he got emotional after their exit a couple years back. The guy wants it that bad and should be commended rather than ridiculed. If only there were more people like that in the sport today.
It was actually quite the opposite, the team carried him (which is not to say it's "his fault"). When he came back from his injury he didn't really get back on his game until Round 1 of the playoffs, where he kicked all kinds of ass. Luongo didn't choke in these playoffs. The Canucks didn't choke in these playoffs. It was a good series with a great game 6. Chicago just beat them, it's that simple.Originally Posted by Unruely35
