- He is going to be one of the greatest American players in the history of Hockey. We were so lucky to watch him play for these last few years and to have had a play of his caliber and tenacity on our team.
It is devastating as a fan for me to see him leave. I hope we can all respect his decision no matter how much it disappoints us. I’m very angry and sad but there’s nothing we can do and I don’t dislike him as a player or person.
He’s a great player, and good person, and I wish he was still a Devil.

Kovalchuk will be a better captain than Parise ever was. Kovy 2012!
And I think Semin would do well on a team with someone like Kovy to keep him disciplined.
- Zach is a real piece of ****. Not because he signed with another team but because of his fake act at the end of the season. Even if in the way back of your mind you think you might sign somewhere else then dont say all this bull**** like “I love New Jersey” and “I’d like to remain a Devil” The way he handled this shows alot about his character…we are better off without him. Im out 2 jerseys a poster and an autographed picture.
