Every time I get mad at Canucks fans I just look at DC's avatar and I know... everything will be OK.
I agree.
The same thing goes for us here. When the Lakers win the NBA Championship, who is out there rioting? Non-Laker fans. There's just way too many people out there who just want to cause trouble because they think they can get away with it.
With the technology we have today, I hope all the people who were in the pictures get caught. Cops will have a easy time looking on Youtube and Facebook that's for sure.
Like others have mentioned, if people cleared the damn streets... the police would have a easy time arresting these bad guys. In my opinion, everyone who stuck around and watched the riot is at fault.

Hey thanks Vancouver. I wake up and it's Stanley Cup talk all over the place...on outlets that I never would have suspected because they never cover the NHL.
Oh ****. They are just covering the story because you are all a bunch of tremendous *******s that can't deal with the fact that you didn't win...when you were supposed to and all. Between the finger biting, the attempt to seperate Horton's head from the rest of him, and now this...well this has certainly been great exposure for the sport that you Eh-holes claim to love. Too bad you guys didn't go all Lord of the Flies on each other, the NHL and the world in general would be a better place. I say this sincerely Vancouver fans...kill yourselves.(Dc...you are ok, there are exceptions to every rule).
I don't understand this all-or-none mentality some here have.
Some Canuck fans are idiots and riot and therefore ALL Canuck fans are "a bunch of tremendous *******s that can't deal with the fact that you didn't win."
These idiots were planning on rioting regardless of the outcome of the Hockey Game. We do not support these people here in Van. If you listen to our media or comments from fellow Canuck fans, a vast majority are speaking out vehemently against these hooligans.
I personally would have liked to see the cops put a bullet in these fools. They are stealing precious oxygen from the rest of us.
Look dc I think most of us are generalizing because that is the face that is presented in the media. We all know that there are Vancouver fans that are gentle, kind and good to their mothers...but those aren't the people that I keep seeing on every goddamned channel on the TV. The public face of the Vancouver fan is one of entitlement and childish temper tantrums that end in looting and property damage the likes of which is generally limited to video from third world countries. That is the Vancouver fan I am addressing.
I will revise my statement...The more expressive Vancouver fans...please, kill yourselves. Any Canuck fans who suffered in silence...move along. Happy now?
If the Kings were as popular as the Lakers there's no doubt in my mind that LA would burn if the Kings were in the same situation as the Nucks or the Bruins. So before we get all high and mighty lets remember that there are drunken dicks in every city. Hell, I could walk outside and see 3 or 4 people I wished lived far, far away from me.
What time is it in Vancouver ?

^This. I get so tired of people trying to generalize entire groups of fans or demographics just because a small minority of them are a bunch of wankers. There are *******s among us, get over it.
There are drunk ******* Canucks fans just as there are drunk ******* Kings, Lakers, Dodgers fans. Yes, they ARE fans because they follow the team (both casual and hardcore), but NO they do no represent the entire fan base.
Riots like these are generally started by a small number of people who knew they were going to do it regardless of the outcome of the game. Some are "fans" and some are actually young naive political "activists" that think they are somehow bringing down the system by starting a pointless riot. I'm sure there are other contributors as well. Once the violence starts a group mentality takes over. Whatever the case may be they are all idiots and only represent themselves, not any particular demographic.
