Thread: What's going on with the rest of the NHL playoffs?

I'm impressed with the Preds -- Ducks trying to goon it up -- running guys all over the ice. Preds calm, cool and collected so far...2-0.

Dan Ellis is not only a self entitled prick off the ice, but he has the skill of a rookie WHL goalie, who else finds it funny that the Ducks are absolutely nothing without a good skilled goalie like Hiller or Emery?

Nashville has the potential to be a very scary team in the playoffs, IMO. My friend is a diehard Ducks fan and we agreed that they were about the worst potential match-up for the Ducks in the first round. Wow, 3-0.

Yep. Would love to have a Steve Sullivan on the Kings -- even with TeMu's system.

Not that I particularly like Ellis, and the playoffs is a whole different ballgame, but 8-3-1 with a 2.39 GAA and .917 Sv% in his 13 GP ain't exactly bush league.

The Ducks are hardly nothing, but they're getting outworked and outplayed by a pretty damn solid team.

What's interesting is that Trotz does not play a drastically different system than TeMu, but there is a ton more movement, the defense activates more often and they really just have a knack for picking the perfect players to fit in there.

Hey, chances are we could pick up Sully this off-season. I don't see him re-signing there, and we know DL isn't averse to injury-prone wingers.
