It looks like Roloson isn't going to get it done. Garon is a servicable backup, but we know he isn't a long term solution as a #1.

I wonder if Yzerman will seriously try to address this problem, or if he will go for another stop gap.

The Islanders do have an extra goalie to trade again and one of Montoya or Nabokov would be another short term solution.

I think it will be interesting to see what Stevie does considering all those years where goal tending was an "issue" in Detroit.

not until DP's concussion is resolved. but ya, maybe... poor guy is ALWAYS injured.

DP is the poster child for the 15 year deal, that's for sure.

I see a train wreck coming in Tampa Bay if Yzerman can't fix this. I think he got lucky with Roloson last season. With the age of VLC and St. Louis, they are built to win now. I'm not sure they have the assets required to get a top notch backup from another team that has the potential to be a #1.
