I'd be down for that! They just need to make sure that I don't run into all those Francophone telecasts.

I also heard the name Moose to be associated with the team. I'm happy for the folks in Winnipeg to get their NHL hockey back.

Hilarious comment on the tsn.ca thread:

"I guess Calgary will want an NHL team now"

Winnipeg, may the Thrashers/Jets/Falcons/whatever bring you as much success as they brought Atlanta.

I'm going to go find a 12-pack of to curl up with here at work.

On the other hand, this has softened my loathing of He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named-alchuk a bit, as the guy clearly saw the writing on the wall last season.
No, this is a good thing. I'm sure the hockey gods are pleased with this. FYI: The hockey gods are Canadian and they've been pissed for a long time now

If only we can somehow get Andrew Ladd from them now.

Has 2 rings, is only 25 and plays with heart and soul. Im a big fan of his play.

He will fit in long term with us as well and make us a better team with his leadership and scoring abilities and is young enough to fit in with the core.

    DO IT DEANO !

    Smyth
    Moller
    Martinez/ Voynov/ Hickey
    + ?

    Would that work.....

Especially with all the headaches moving the Coyotes has proven to be.
The Coyotes will be moving, or they completely fold. They have been a bigger failure than the Thrashers. Las Vegas and Kansas City will not get teams either, as both would end up failures financially. Seattle could possibly successfully support a team, but that's a maybe. Fact is, hockey is sadly not popular in the US, so moving or adding a team in the US is a giant gamble.

It seems so obvious but I have the feeling they're not going to see it that way.
