While watching this Canada vs Slovakia game.

The canadian team gets rattled in the physical game. However, its only 2 players from Slovakia doing the physical game.

Not a ONE of the nuck kids sang their Anthem...sad.

Yeah, I've been wondering about taking Schenn vs. MPS. I'm thinking that maybe we should have taken the risk to get the player with more upside (we're lacking in dynamic offensive players).

Watching Schenn in the WJC's makes me think that we're getting another Handzus. I think he's a good player, but I think his skating is going to limit his offensive production.

What a game, too bad it had to end in a shoot out.

I tend to agree. Somehow that DL quote about going for the meat vs. sexy comes to mind. While it was in reference to the Smyth trade, it also really applied to this year's draft strategy. While I loved the Schenn selection for the look on Burke's face, I also would have preferred for us to trade down and grab MSP, who was always my first choice.

Hall is TINY!!! What is the big deal? Kid is good, but I dont get the insane hype. What am I missing?
