I can't believe they started out the article with:
"It looks liek a family feud is brewing in Edmonton after Patrick O'Sullivan was benched in Los Angeles."
And no, I'm not referring to the spelling of "liek" or that is says in Los Angeles when it was actually in Edmonton but the fact that they called it a family fued when referring to Sully.
He had the same gripe when TM took over. He said he'd spent all this time proving himself to Crawford and didn't feel like he should have to prove himself to a new coach from scratch. And he never really did.
This guy could easily be out of hockey in 3 years. I really hope not.
maybe they should trade him to Dallas? He seemed to like playing for Crow
Sorry guys, I disagree with you. He has had a rough road, to be sure. However, I am from the school of personal responsibility in life. There are many examples in many walks of life of people who have had abusive parents and situations where they chose to rise above and become better people. He is accepting abosolutely no accountability for his actions. For years we've seen that all of his underproducing has been someone elses failure and his mouth been someone elses fault. He has immense talent and unfortunately, at this rate, his attitude is going to ruin his career. Unless he sees what he is doing and makes a change, I fear we will NEVER see what he could be. He needs to take a good long look in the mirror and grow up before it's too late. He has so much ability and talent and it would be a shame for him never to see it all come together.
As sad as I was at the initial loss of Sully, it was definitely the best thing for the Kings. Is he in a contract year? I would wager that he isn't, but when he is i'm sure his play will come around so he can get the big money I'm sure he thinks he deserves for what will amount to one good season.
Edit: I checked, it's not a contract year for sully.
He's got a sense of entitlement thing going on.
