To go back to the Wings/Hawks game for a sec...

I know Holmstrom's no saint, but I wonder how many bad calls have gone against him this season. Tonight he had his legs taken out from under him on a partial break-away... No call. In prior games this season, I've personally witnessed at least 4 Wings goals called back due to phantom goalie-interference calls. I'm sure there are more.

Just tuned into the Ducks and Avs. I know we all hate the Ducks, but the way they manage to come back every game is pretty exciting to watch. Let's hope Colorado can score a couple before the 3rd ends.

This only puts more pressure right on the Kings. Ducks and Chicago both win. The playoffs are still no given. Tomorrow sets the tone in Edmonton.

We need 97 to get in, if that means Calgary loses at least one more and Dallas loses a few.

I think it would be great to have the Sharks, Kings and Ducks finally in the playoffs on the same year.

Seems like every time I check the scores, the damn Ducks win. I really hate the freakin' Ducks!

It was only Colorado, but consider the Kings did better against Colorado without Kopitar and Williams than Anaheim did with a full roster, minus Hiller maybe.

You should be more upset that Chicago beat Detroit.

Yep, and the "gimme" games are done for the Ducks.

This will be the first year all Cali teams make it.

If the Kings pull out the win tomorrow (they better) and go 3-3 te rest of the way with one win against the Ducks, they should still finish no lower than 6th. Personally I am hoping for a record that gets them 10 points. That should be good enough for at least 5th and a good shot at 4th.

As for the Wings, I really think they get bounced 1st round, they has been mediocre at best recently and they arguably have the weakest goaltending in the West.

A Canucks/Ducks 1st round match-up would be an absolute slugfest. I can't stand either team but it would be fun to watch.
