I guess it is about time I joined this forum. My name's Josh de Lioncourt. I've been a hockey fan for about 25 years now, and a hard core Kings fan for about 20 of those. I'm a huge fan of Nick Nixon on the Kings radio network, who is hands down the best play-by-play announcer in hockey history. No ther is able to give such a clear picture of the action to someone who can't see it.
To a much lesser extent, I'm also a Penguins and Blues fan.
I first got interested in Hockey when I was 8-years-old or so, because MacGyver was a fan. I loved that show...still do really. Richard Dean Anderson, who played the title role, was a tremendous hockey fan, and they incorperated that into MacGyver's character on the show. He even had a Kings jersey. It wasn't long after that i was hooked.
In non-hockey interests, I help run a web site for blind users of Apple products The Mac-cessibility Network (Apple makes all of its products, Macs, iPhone, iPod, iPad, etc usable by the blind and visually impaired, unlike just about any other company). I also co-host Masters Cast - The First He-Man and She-Ra Podcast a podcast devoted to Masters of the UNiverse, of which I am a huge fan. And I have a band. You can check out our EP on iTunes under the band name Stage 19.
I am an avid reader, music lover, and Kings fan for life.
