Don't know if that's enough... how about Thornton + Cheechoo + a Pick for Cammi and Modry?

They only chant Beat LA cuz they wish they could BE LA.

I'm no Shark fan, but props to the organization and players for saluting Luuuuc before, during, and after his last game.

Having said that, please tell your team to stop beating my team all the time. It's getting old.

I find it funny because it was started by Celtics fans in the 80's. The Celtics kicked ass and the Lakers did too. Best sports rivalry of that decade by far. Now all of these cow poke towns say it when they haven't won jack.

Having said that it makes sense when you chant it against the Lakers and even the Dodgers because, well, they have won championships. When they chant it to the Clippers and the Kings it's like......why?

as far as the beat LA thing...i don't know why we do it. i just go along with the crowd, heck i'm only 23. i do love the YOU SUCK guys we have though. they are funny.

and stan, i will try to tell them to stop, but i don't think they will. parts of me don't want them too either.

No, it started with the battery chuckers from up north in the Dodgers-Giants rivalry.

And they chant it because they hate LA, regardless of the team's history. Arte Moreno probably wishes the fans in Oakland would start that chant.
