Greetings!

New here. Well, not completely new - been reading the forum for quite a while, but never decided to post anything until now.

I am coming from Slovenia and could call myself a Kings fan ever since Kopitar made the team. I know this may sound obvious, but he is quite a hero in our little country, making such an impact in NHL level hockey.

However, Kopitar is not the only reason I dig this team. I adore the young core of players complemented by more experienced skaters and some veteran leadership. I mean, I like the direction of the team ever since Lombardi is GM. I know that results are not quite there yet, but this season started somewhat promising. I know that Kings fans are waiting for playoffs since 2001 and it's been a long and frustrating wait.

While reading the forum I discovered it's a bit different than a common sports forum:victory: Meaning there's still lots of sarcasm, "bandwagonerism", whining and everything that comes with sports forum (I am not saying this is bad:ggrin:), but there's also a possibility to have a mature, productive conversation. Rare but priceless. :ggrin:

That's it for my first-timer. Please don't cut me to pieces if I post something misinformed, in bad English or just plain stupid. I am new and I know that I don't know s***. :ggrin:
