    Default Greetings from Canada

    Hiya,

I'm new to LGK, as of today actually. I post from time to time on calgarypuck.com but use it more for news. i joined LGK because i was hoping some of you could help me.

Myself and 22 friends will be heading to Laguna beach on Friday for my cousins stag. We were really hoping LA and Anaheim would both still be in the play-offs but it looks like it will just be the kings (Well aware the Flames were nowhere near close to making the post season).

I know the Kings will be on the road for their game this Saturday but we were hoping we would still be able to head up to LA Live or somewhere near the Staples Centre to tail gate and watch the game? Will bars in and around the Staples Centre be doing much for the game? If not is there somewhere else we should head?

    Appreciate any help or suggestions.

    Thanks so much

ESPN Zone at LA LIVE. They have an area called the Penalty Box. Best place to watch a Kings game.

Thanks for the quick reply, if the game starts at 6pm local time will there be much going on before the game? outside and around the stadium maybe?

    Get there early. Like 4pm.

After the game and once you fellas have had too many, use your smart phone and look up "Dames and Games".

    Have Fun!

at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.

Sorry, but you need to Google it when you aren't at work.

If its a Stag trip, its the perfect place for you to finish the night.

    Welcome to LGK.

They have official Watch Parties at ESPN Zone in LA Live like Ecktore has mentioned. But as for doing anything outside... unfortunately there is no chance of that happening. But yeah, get there early like around 4 if you want to be guaranteed a spot in the restaurant. Of course, if that place is filled you could always hit up Yardhouse. I'm sure plenty of other Kings fans will gather over there too.

While it seems like most of you are allergic to the "like" button, I just want to personally say thanks for looking anyway.

After partying at LA Live, you should take the boys to WEHO.

Welcome!!! Follow the advice above: watch the game at ESPN Zone and then have a night cap at D&G. I went for the Super Bowl and it was quite the experience..and cheaper than the Rhino
