    Default Hello

Hello. I've been a fan since 1967. Funny story there...One of the nun's brothers at my Catholic school was an LAPD officer and he brought over a stack of Laker and Kings tickets to give away to the students. I was sick the day they gave out the seats and I thought for sure I missed out, but one of the sisters had held out two King tiks for me and my dad. And thats how I saw my first game, 1967. I've been a fan ever since, and I've been buying season seats for three years now. Anyhow, I want to pose a question. Does anyone out there play table hockey? Ken Rafferty runs a table hockey tourney every month over behind the Orange Curtain, and the Ducks let him set up a few tables at the Honda Center before each game. I called the Kings and they nixed the idea of setting up some games in the 1st floor lobby area of the Staples unless its for charity. However, I will pursue the idea with Kings management further. Does anyone think the idea is okay, I mean playing table hockey before a game? Maybe out front? Not the Superchexx, but something smaller like some Stigas or maybe the new Bodycheck game.
So thats it. LETS GO KINGS!!!!

How is that a funny story? It barely holds one's attention.

The nun could have given him Laker tickets but instead he got King's tickets...and a lifetime of missed chances, underdogs, more whacky goalies than Spinal Tap has had drummers, choking at season's end, injuries, injuries, injuries, battling for the 8th seed so we can lose in the first round, Bailey, the Zam Man, Gretzky, That ******* Blake and his shenanigans...the DUCKS....yeah, not funny at all.

I'm so mad at that nun now.

    Welcome aboard!
We are the Samurai, the warrior elite who protect and serve. Armed and armored from head to toe, masters of our personal weapons and bound by Honor, Duty, Loyalty, and Honesty. We walk the long path into the places society would prefer forgotten, and chase those demons that most would run from screaming in fear. We are the Samurai.
