Hello, My name is Sean but obviously by my ID name you can assume I have a wee bit of body art collection that I started back in 1990.
I have been a Kings fan from a distance no matter where I lived.
I grew up in Michigan and while I grew up around the Wings, I was always fascinated as a kid by this team that I thought at the time was wearing the Lakers jerseys. I didn't know that they both went to the colors at the same time. I really couldn't watch the Kings as there was no ESPN or anything that showed hockey like these days. I could see the Kings when they came to Detroit and when they played Montreal or Toronto and happened to be on Hockey Night in Canada if it was lucky enough to be on a Saturday night.
I went into the army around the time that 99 arrived. I was stationed in Germany for some of those years and thankfully I got to see them going in the playoffs with Wayne and crew on the Armed forces network.
Since 1995, I have lived in the eastern valley of central part of Arizona. I had to get away from cold weather and I was hired at my job out here and I have been here since. I have maintained my interest in the Kings. I always liked that they were that one odd ball team that truly showed hockey could work in warm weather. The old interviews of Bernie Nicholls in his sunglasses by the beach during a period intermission break of a game in the late 80's always was cool to me for what ever reason.
I was out there cheering loud and proud during game 1 and 2 loving what Suter and company have done to the club. Speed, size, discipline, and determination.
Well, It is nice to meet everyone of you. I wish I had found this forum before the games as it would have been cool to meet some of you.
