Thread: Hello Kings Fans!

Hello fellow Kings fans, my name is Gerald. I was born and raised in Boston as a Bruins fan and am a HUGE Boston College fan (Go Scuderi!). I also played hockey (defenseman) from age 4 up through High School. Anyhow, I spent some years in Kansas City where I got to see the Kings play the Blues in a preseason game in 2008. At the game, I told my wife that the Kings had a ton of young talent and would be a team to watch out for in the coming years. By no means did I predict or expect a Stanley Cup Championship but, I thought they'd become an elite team. We started following the Kings closely and when my company relocated me to California, that was it. We officially became Kings fans...even though we live over 4 hrs. away and are only 90 mins. from San Jose. Sorry for the long intro. and background. I've lurked on this site for a while and finally decided to join. Looking forward to some good, fun hockey talk.
