I expect weekly Trout fishing reports from you from April thru October!
at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.

Right now the trout are on point been hitting most of the creeks south of bigpine and have had great numbers. (all catch and release). Went to diaz lake south of Lone Pine yesterday and nailed over 30 fish. Orange power bait is working well but the good ol worn and a marshmellow are just as good. The Bass are still timid and weather is starting to warm up so I am hoping in the next week or so the bass bite will come alive. Should be a good northen opener for the lakes are all ice free and have been for weeks. Look to hit Crowley if I mat suggest for the best eatting trout are in that lake and you will not catch anythig that is 2 pounds or less. I have always nailed 3 plus pounders there.
