Thread: hello from long beach!

i had signed up for LGK over a year ago, but just recently started posting. i'm a so. cal native and grew up in long beach, and still live in long beach. my pops and i used to go to kings games back at the forum for as long as i could remember, heck, i remember you could almost sit anywhere you wanted back then (early/mid 80's). back then, steve duchesne was my favorite player, i loved his hip-checks he used to throw!

a little more about me, i started playing ice hockey when i was 14, Bantams for the South Coast Sabers down in Costa Mesa, i then played Midgets at Norwalk, and then "Juniors" back at South Coast when they moved to anaheim glacial gardens. im currently playing level 3 at lakewood glacial gardens in the beer league.

last but certainly not least, i just got engaged last sunday at disneyland, knowing that i'd have the moment captured with cameras, i was sure to wear my kings shirt for the big day!!!

Welcome oh romantic one. Here's a question for you, were you the rebel spy on my Star Tours ride? Fricken Vader had our ship in his death grip because of said rebel spy.

hahaha, thanks mitch! negative on being said spy, as i grow older, my tolerance (aka, feel sick after the ride) for bumpy/jerky rides has declined, thus no Star Tours for this guy. :/
