Hey, I'm using this forum for it's intended purpose~!

firstly, I am digging this board pretty well

I'm super displaced as far as the Kings are concerned...Richmond Virginia...hence the Avatar (Richmond Renegades SPHL)

I've been a Kings fan for bout as long as I can even remember. Just started out as a fascination w/ #99 as a kid and now I'm a diehard supporter at 27.

Favorite player at the moment would probably be Sully because of his amazing natural ability and just rediculous stickwork, although I'm really starting to get on the LaBarbera bandwagon (with the other 4 people that are currently on it) as of late, and am also a big fan of Blake (for primarily nostalgia at this point)

Richmond, VA is pretty far from hockey country, but my dad has always been a fringe hockey fan, and has had season tickets to the local club (or incarnations of) since around 95-96....so, that explains that I think...

anyway...there's your introduction to me...as it pertains to hockey

I'm also a sagitarius and enjoy long walks on the beach....

actually I'm a libra and burn easily...

but I digress...

accept me with open arms or slam the door in my face...either way i'm game :)

I've always been a pretty big fan of the Stephen King - Meteor Man bit...

but I think my favorite is the beast in the crate...

Arlington is about an hour 1/2 drive, it's pretty much DC area.....which may beg the question why not the Capitals....

Answer: My sister was a Capitals fan...

When my wife was getting her Masters degree at Gallaudet, I saw a Kings/Caps game at the USAir Arena (either '97 or '98). The mascot gave me some crap when I went to buy a beer, but the Kings won and I had a good time - it reminded me of seeing the Kings play in the Forum.

I have a good friend from Virginia. We went to the Kings/Leafs game a couple of weeks ago. It was on the same day Ovechkin signed his huge 13 year deal, so my friend wore his Caps jersey. I only heard one comment about it the whole time, though. The Kings spanked the Leafs, so again - Good times!

Long story short, but I guess I'm trying to say that I like people from Virginia. Welcome aboard!

It appears as though I accidentally found and took advantage of a points loophole...

I will not expose exactly what I did, but rest assured I'm not taking advantage of it again...
