Hi everyone! First of all, I would like to sincerely like to extend my thanks and appreciation to everyone who supported the KINGS this year. The players, coaches, support staff, the awesome LA fans, and this awesome website! Basically everyone who loves the KINGS as much as I do!!! It was such an exciting season, and I can't wait until next year when we beat those damn Canucks and get Sir Stanley’s Cup!They are not that good (Reference the 9-3 win during end of the season), and we easily could be moving on tonight. LUUUUUUOOOOOOONNNNGOOOOOOO!!!!!
Hahaha! Ok, enough venting........
Secondly, I would like to say hello to everyone on this awesome site and introduce myself. My name is Jon and I was referred here by a "Die-Hard" Kings fan! I am a recently reactivated HUGE hockey fan. But first, yes, sadly I have two confessions.....First, I must admit I have neglected this great sport for football, for the past 8 years or so occasionally watching a game or two due. For this I am truly sorry. Second, I must sadly admit, I originally became hooked on hockey because of the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (BOOOOOO!). I was a true mighty ducks fan, from their inaugural season due to the awesome movies (ala the "flying V" and "knuckle-puck time"). I fell hard for hockey, rollerblades, homemade nets with little bros as goalies, pads, gear, sticks, everything!!!!! I was nuts about hockey, I couldn't get enough!Ok, so now fastfoward to present day, and tell you how easy it was to switch bandwagons! Easy, I say....DUCKS SUCK! My buddies are huge KINGS fans and I proudly attended over 10 games this season, including, sadly, the only home playoff game win in eight years. :( But I hold my head up high, and look forward to next season, especially my two favorite players: Wayne Simmonds (17) and Jonathan Bernier (45)! We are young, and we will rise! This year proved that without a doubt!
So now hockey world, and more importantly KINGS fans, I am back, proudly flying my KINGS colors..... jerseys, Bailey's Buddies wrist band, backpack, towel, front license plate, hats, pucks, and hopefully soon, a BIG kings banner (saving up at the moment).
Thanks for listening and having me guys and GO KINGS GO and This Is LA!!!! Our City of Hope!![]()
