Thread: Hi from Seattle

The Silvertips rock, too!
And I will never miss a game that pits the Tips against the T-Birds. The intensity will blow you away!
I wish NHL was a little closer that VANCOUVER, but the WHL puts on a pretty good show with these two teams.
And yes- Jack Johnson has the BEST nickname in the world!!!!!

Speaking of the Tips, I just interviewed a kid on that team who grew up playing hockey in Southern Cal and loves the Kings. He's eligible for draft this year and says it would be awesome to play for LA. He's quite the scorer- quick. 24 goals, 27 assists in 53 games this season so far.

Bubbadel2, I work at a tv station in Seattle and edit the hockey page for our website. I focus mostly on the two WHL teams, but also have posts about the AHL and NHL. It's pretty much a free for all.

My girlfriend's parents live in Seattle. I usually go once a year, usually sometime around the holidays. Going to a T-Birds game is mandatory when I go. Espcecially since Hickey is there and Holloway was. Looking forward to seeing the new arena in Kent sometime next season too.

I will try and remember to keep you ("motleysu") and "NoDought" in mind when I go.
