I know what you mean about the lame music climate here. Yes, there are some awesome metal heads here, but there are also way too many lame-o's who trumpet their punk (metal for retards) or their underground 'cool because it's so uncool' alternative garbage.
With that said, who cares what they think? I know they don't care what I think, but I'll always carry the flag for metal, no matter who or how many lame asses oppose me.
Goatwhore's one word Mitchy! And let me tell you this, Ben is the only good guy in that entire band. The rest of em, well, I'll just say that I don't care for those fellas so much.
C'mon now Ruely. I was in junior high in the early/mid 90's. On top of that, I've been listening to metal since I was 6. I go way back. But I hear what you're getting at. I welcome all metal Kings fans with open arms. Hell, I welcome all Kings fans with open arms.
Now, now, be nice. That music may not be for you or for me but the underground is great regardless of the genre. Would you rather it be people waving the mainstream flag? I respect all underground music, even if I think it totally sucks.
Too funny! Show Manowar some love. :19smile:
Anyway, good to see the love for metal around these parts. When I left in '02, I found a heavy metal message board based out of Canada. I gained such a good reputation, that I became a moderator over there. I still am.
PM if you are interested.
The one thing I miss about the Inland Empire is 96.7 FM KCAL. That station played some metal. Don't miss the drive from the IE.
:firefire: METAL!! METAL!! METAL!!
Love the Queensryche reference in your handle 156.
Love "The Warning!!!" :headbang:
