It's the so 'uncool that it must be cool' thing that gets me. Watch Juno for a great example of that kind of soundtrack and Check out some of the old music threads around here, they are full of that garbage. After all, it certainly can't be the music that people are into. It's nontechnical, tuneless tripe with a lame-ly-er than thou vibe that they must dig into. It's kinda like the whole concept of 'Alternative'. I don't get it and proudly never will.

Yeah, you're talking about the whole indie crowd. I saw a bunch of that in NYC and it looks as if it's somewhat similar in L.A. minus the B&T crowd. I guess I'm more of a "you do your thing and I'll do mine" kind of guy when it comes to that situation. In the end, no one likes an elitest or a snob in anything.
