Let me introduce myself my fellow supporters and collectors
Hello my fellow Kings supporters!
After many years of following the Los Angeles Kings, through good times and the lean years, I have now officially committed to take an active role in sharing my passion for hockey and the Los Angeles Kings.
I have been a Los Angeles Kings fan since 1968 when I attended my first Kings fame with my father.
I am a native Angelino, born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, growing up in Chatsworth California, and now residing in Simi Valley CA.
I'm 44 years old, married, and have two great kids a son Brendan (16) and a daughter Devyn (14).
My family share my passion of the Kings, and for the greatest game on ice, hockey.
I played hockey for a good 20 years as a goalie, and enjoyed every second of it.
Unfortunetly, I had to stop playing, after sufferring a lower back injury, which resulted in having to go under the knife to have spinal fusion on L5/S1 and another procedure on L5/L4.
I am happy to be pain and symptom free going on 8 years now.
I was fortunet to be at the 1993 Stanley Cup finals games 3&4 at the Great Western Forum, only to suffer a heartbreaking defeat to the Canadiens.
I have been a hockey card/memoribilia collector for 20 plus years also, and I am a hockey junkie when it comes to reading about the history of the game, the original teams from the 1893 Montreal AAA,1906 Montreal Wanderers,1910 Renfrew Millionaires, 1915 Vancouver Millionaires 1922 Toronto St. Pats, 1919 Seattle Metropolitans, NY Americans, Pittsburgh Pirates, 1912 Quebec Bulldogs, to current and the players who shaped the game from it's beginning thru today.
We try to attend at least a dozen games a year, and have been also attending the fund raising events such as Tip A King.
I have a large hockey card collection, as well as a nice autographed jersey/stick collection, including game used items, along with autographed pucks.
Included in my personal HOF museum, I have some very rare and unique items from hockeys past including a triple autograph of Bill Cook/Frank Boucher/Fred Bun Cook of the 1928 NY Rangers, in addition I have autographs of Jacques Plante, Irwin "Ace" Bailey, Neil Colville, Chuck Rayner, Sid Abel, Lorne "Gump" Worsley, Harold "Mush" March, James Norris (the trophy dedicated to the best defenseman), Cal Gardner, Harry Watson, Sam Pollock, Tom Johnson, Maurice "Rocket" Richard, Bernie "Boom Boom" Geoffrion.
In addition to the autographs of the above deceased players/owners, I also have a significant collection of vintage cards ranging from 1911-12 Imperial Tobacco C55 through current, along with countless cards with game used items from Georges Vezin, Jack Adams, Newsy Lalonde, Howie Morenz, Eddie Shore, Dit Clapper, Paddy Moran, King Clancy, Busher Jackson, Tim Horton, Jacques Plante, Terry Sawchuk, Geroge Hainsworth, Aurel Joliat, Jean Beliveau, Johnny Bower, Milt Schmidt, Gerry Cheevers, Tony Esposito, Rogie Vachon, Marcel Dionne,Luc, Gretzky and current/future Kings Brian Boyle, Thomas Hickey, Oscar Moller, Drew Doughty, Erik Ersberg, Frolov, Brown, O'Sullivan, Kopitar, Jack Johnson, Jonathan Bernier.
Well that is probably more than you need to know about me, but I look forward to having discussions, and maybe even making some trades with some of you hockey collectors.

Nice collection!
Did you ever know any of the off-ice officials back in the 60's and 70's? I was there for most of the games, my dad was goal judge, and we wandered all over the Forum.
