bob miller wrote a book called tales from the kings. it's not really a history but it has some historical events dealing with the team

welcome. Besides Bob Miller's book, may I also recommend Gare Joyce's Future Greats and Heartaches, which discusses many of the Kings current prospects and a few of its players.

Also, be sure and look up\read a book which explains the terms "gallow's humor"; "over the top journalism"; and "forlorn hope."
