Thread: New Kings Fan here

Just wanted to say hi to everyone on the board. First and foremost i'm a diehard rangers fan. Always will be my number one team. but something has always intrigued me about the los angeles kings. I've always liked them but just could never watch them because of living on the east coast. Well this year i ordered nhl center ice so i'm pretty excited to catch a bunch of kings games this year. Unfortunately i don't know too much history or any history about this team for that matter. So maybe you guys could clue me in? i saw some vids on youtube of the 2001 playoff run. pretty sick stuff.

I know the kings aren't the best team around and have missed the playoffs ther past few years but i know u guys have alot of awesome guys in your lineup. anze kopitar and jack johnson to name a few. anyway just wanted to say hi and i'm excited to join u guys for the season!

by the way this team has probably my favorite color scheme in all of the nhl.

Exactly! One thing I can say for sure about the Kings is that they have very passionate fans, especially the ones on this board.

I love passionate fans. I mean the team is from a huge city so i would hope so. You guys should check out a rangers game sometimes, you wanna talk about passionate? lol crazy stuff. especially when you're at the garden.

I saw a game at MSG, it was fantastic. My husband is from Long Island - Islanders fan though. I've always been partial to any of the original six.
