I'll be forgetting a bunch of stuff but super quickly, in no particular order:
-Having fought for and deserved freedom
-Hospitality towards foreigners (at least in my case)
-Cultural diversity (although some parts of the country do lack this it seems)
-You guys do have some awesome food
-The film industry (hurray for providing me with a job I can be passionate about!)
-Respect of the flag (your flag is nicer than mine)
Was first a national treasure but then became a giant douche here. Now that the dust has settled a little, he's liked a bit more. The crap pertaining to his son really caused a stir here but when he did a pre-game skate for the Habs' centennial game last December, it was all cheers (and deservedly so).

at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.

Nick, bring your skates and maybe helmet & gloves, we'll lend you the rest. Hopefully you'll visit when we have a game, be warned the level in the LGK PU ranges from pure novice to a few w/ mad skills.
What do you do in the film biz? There are plenty of us LGKers in the entertainment biz...
