Thanks for welcoming a Kings fan from Chicago
Hi - I'm a lifelong hockey fan and have always rooted for the Kings. My favorite team is my hometown Blackhawks, but the Kings are solidly in the top three.
I remember being a little kid and begging my parents to let me watch the Hawks and the Kings on TV in a game starting at 9:30 pm Chicago time.
Anyway, the Kings have cost me some hours of sleep, since I have the Center Ice package and like watching the games before going to bed.
I'd like nothing more than to see a Hawks-Kings conference final.
Thanks for letting me be a member of this message board.

Welcome! Chicago is a fun city. I have family out there. By far my favorite city in the mid-west. I've noticed Blackhawks fans are generally good people compared to some of the other scum i've tolerated at other NHL arenas around the country.
Enjoy the ups and downs that make up LGK! Go Kings Go!
And in the words of one of Chicago's great fictional characters:
"It's only a game if you win but if you lose it's a stinking waste of time."

Welcome! I was in Chicago once. My boyfriend (at the time) won tix to see the Lakers play the Bulls (not much of a hockey fan at the time, but have since mended my ways). They flew us out, we stayed at the Drake Hotel. It was butt-shiverin' cold, but the Lakers won and I enjoyed the Natural History museum and aquarium. Your boys are coming to Staples Center on my birthday. Can't wait!

Funny, me and another LGKer were talking about how Chicago Sports fans are always cool people. Hope to visit the city one day.

The United Center is a cool place for hockey, now that the Hawks are playing well. But there is nothing like Chicago Stadium. When it existed and the Hawks were playing well, it was amazing.
One question: Some other posters have responded, but I'm looking for a Drew Doughty t-shirt. Any ideas? I've tried the Team LA store without a good deal of success.
Thanks. Go Kings!!!
