Two Game 6 Nosebleeders finally taking the plunge ;) Hello fellow Kings fans. Two die-hard Kings fans, Danielle and Adam, here. It's nice to meet you all and finally become active members on this board.
About us (individually): Adam, 28, a Kings fan since birth. Grew up in Santa Clarita and now living in Burbank. His mom managed the Culver Ice Rink (the Kings practice rink way back). Favorite Player: Our captain, Dustin Brown.
Danielle, 23, another Kings fan since birth due to my father's obsession with the good 'ole hockey game. Also grew up in Santa Clarita, now living in Long Beach. Favorite Player: Kopi since the day he stepped on the ice in a Kings' uni.
About us (as a couple): This is a true story, we actually met last year when the Kings' run to the Cup began. We were introduced through Danielle's sis ("Hey Danielle, you gotta meet Adam. He's as obsessed with the Kings as you are.") That's actually how it happened. We were at Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals, in the bleeds.
Nicest King We've Met: We've met most of the Kings now, but Penner has been hands down the nicest. (We've met him/talked with him 3 times now.) When we told him how we met and became a couple, he said, "That is the best Stanley Cup story I've heard." He has engaged us in a conversation every time we've seen him.
So, we aren't season ticket holders (yet), but someday in the not-too-distant future it will happen. We are always looking for a great deal on tickets (and have had great luck so far this season). We wanted to say a huge "thank you" to the fellow die-hards we've met through the Ticket Exchange board already--you guys are awesome for helping us budget-conscious Kings fans out! We have gotten extremely tremendous deals on tickets through this community already--we're looking forward to helping people out when we have season tickets in the future.
A Challenge: We love meeting fellow Kings fans. If you can find us at Staples, we'd love to buy you a beer. Adam will be wearing a blacked-out black ice Brown jersey. Danielle will be wearing a black ice Kopi jersey.
